How long is the process of moving to the US as a Nurse?

Dependent on the VISA pathway, this can range from between 6-28 months for most of the world.

Salaries differ based on experience but are generally between $75,000 - $110,000 per year.

Do I need to have passed the NCLEX exam before I can be considered for US opportunities?

Yes, you must have passed the NCLEX exam.

Do I need to drive in the USA?

It is highly recommended that you have an International driving license and are able to drive in the USA.

Do I need to have passed an English language test to be offered a job in the USA?

Yes, as you need to be able to evidence your ability and control of the English language in order to successfully complete your VISA screen process into the USA (IELTS, OET, PTE etc are accepted ) but have different scoring thresholds to meet.

Will I be accepted into the USA for nursing opportunities with a Diploma in Nursing?

Some Hospitals will accept candidates with a Nursing Diploma; however most are only accepting Bachelor qualified Nurses.

How do I study and pass the NCLEX exam?

There is a large amount of content online which can help you study and pass the NCLEX exam. Some US agencies offer NCLEX programmes where you can pay a fee to be tutored and mentored through the NCLEX process and exam.
